Having your camper built by us means we enter a partnership and work closely together to create your perfect interior. We have experience of what is likely to look best and importantly work functionally, but what we don’t know is exactly how you’ll spend time in your van, for that we really need to get to know you and what you’re looking for, so building a relationship is an important part of the process.

Unlike many conversion crews all our interiors are individually made in our Dorset workshops and the electrical, plumbing and gas fixtures are of the highest quality. It’s this quality alongside elegant design that will set your van conversion apart – no off the peg solutions here!
Your perfect layout
Every land yacht is a bespoke process between you and us, starting with a free consultation, where we will start outline pricing for your particular conversion.
We love talking through the possibilities of what your dream conversion could look like. This will help you decide between a Land Yacht layout, Port or Starboard or a more individual and one-off design.
Bring us your van – we do everything else!
It all starts with the van. You may already have one or be looking to source one, we can offer guidance; just ask.
Most of our conversions are for medium wheel base panel vans. These vans are generally easy to drive, while being big enough to spend extended periods of time in, especially when it’s pouring outside!
Our advise is don’t skimp on the van. Mileage and service history are important, also try and avoid ones which have been worked as delivery vehicles. Ducati’s, Boxers and Relays are wider than Sprinter and Crafters, but you don’t get the length of the latter.
High top vans allow you to stand up inside, which gives a great feeling of space, although you do need to watch height restrictions in car parks. In a standard height van we suggest you thing about a pop-up top.
Finally think about a white panel van, as it reflects the heat at the height of the summer.
Visit the workshop
Once you have your van arrange to bring it to our workshops where we can finalise the layout, additional extras, cloth colours for upholstery and any other elements you would like customising. At this point we ask for a deposit of £1,000 (non refundable).
If you live a way away, we may be able to offer overnight accommodation in one of our stock vans – that way to get to try before you buy and experience the beauty and tranquility of the Dorset valley where we work. Please check availability with us beforehand.
Personalise to your lifestyle
After your visit to the workshop we’ll confirm the cost for your conversion as well as your slot in the dairy.
Three weeks before we begin the conversion we ask for a 50% of the full cost (less the £1,000 deposit) with the final 50% payable before collection of your completed van.
Camper conversions will take on average 6-8 weeks to complete.
Follow the build
We’ll keep in touch with photographs throughout the build and you’ll see how we hand build, fit and finish every cabinet and panel. We don’t buy pre-fabricated cabinets or panelling, but use English Ash throughout, because it is strong, sustainable and beautiful.
Drive off on your big adventure
The big day will arrive when you’ll be able to drive off into the blue yonder, excited about adventures to come.
Safety always has to be a priority. Each van comes with a gas certificate and electrical sign off. We can also provide a Landlords Gas Safety Certificate if you are planning on renting out your van (for an additional cost).

All our conversions come with a one year warranty on materials, parts and construction. This is a return to base warranty where any issues can be rectified as quickly as possible.
